And believe me there are a lot of scams out there ready to take peoples money. Here are a few tips when looking at the question what are some legitimate home based businesses.
First there are a number of words that should make you stop and think when your read advertisement for a home based business opportunity. Be very cautious if you see the words like: down-line builder, powerline, quick, easy, no experience necessary, unlimited income, turnkey, big money fast, instant cash, make money fast, or make money while you sleep. Any of these words should raise a big red flag
Second, check into the company carefully before getting involved. Do your research. What are some Legitimate Home Based Businesses TM#1What are some Legitimate Home based Businesses
A question I am always asked when I meet a newbie online is: What are some Legitimate Home
Based businesses? I said newbie but a whole lot of us oldies are also asking what some
Legitimate Home based Businesses are also. If we knew the answer to that we would be a
happy bunch of marketers.
Many of us have been scammed at one time or another no matter how hard we try and avoid it.
We have all answered an add promising what looks like a good deal then as soon as they get our
money they disappear never to be heard of again. You see the scammers are very organized. They
gather millions and millions of email addresses, they put up a fancy professional looking web page, they
key on things that people are looking for and make some very wild but believable statements. Most
will not not have a permanent address; they do a quick campaign, gather peoples money and
disappear.
Be very leery about any get rich quick scheme. There is no easy money and anyone offering to make
you rich by working 10 hours a week is generally not telling the truth, they are only after one thing,
your money. Making money on line or off line takes a lot of work and people in legitimate Home
based businesses will all tell you that they work 70-80 hours a week.
Also be careful about companies that want up front money to cover the cost of training you. Most
of them will take your money and offer you little training.
Now do not get me wrong there are plenty of legitimate home based business out there which will in
fact require some basic training to properly do the job. No company can afford to train thousands of
people to perform given tasks if those involved in the training are not sincere and/or committed to really
doing the work. If you think you are seriously interested in a position but have your doubts about the
integrity of the entity, the Better Business Bureau is always a good place to check out both good
references and complaints about a given unit advertising work from home programs.
